Description
We have known of the Goddess herself, protector of the Surface and all whom inhabit it; from the volcanic terrain of Eldin, lush wooded forests of Faron, to the then-vast seas of Lanayru, Hylia watched over the lands many called home for decades. She kept watchful eyes on the conjoining lands for years, keeping humanity safe. Peace seemed to overlook the land beneath the clouds, yet trouble stirred every other second. Eyes watched from shadows. Still was the air for decades, hundreds of years even. As the side of the Demon King silently grew, one stood by and watched the land and people evolve and yet remain stagnant all at once. Who she was didn't appear to matter to the humans. All that did was how she caused an unexplained sense of unease among them. -------------------------------- A favoured tale detailing the earliest incarnation of the Goddess's chosen hero as well as the formation of the legendary blade of evil's bane. Hatred toward the Goddess is birthed in the form of Demise, King to demons and fabled destructor of the world had it not been for Hylia's sealing power. All is true within legend, although Skyloftian texts have left out a particular individual; someone who's purpose was never meant to be in the first place, but whom arose to assist in bringing about the initial calamity that sent the remaining humans into the sky for decades and rise of the Demon King to encrust the lands below in blood.
