Description
Mara was just a girl from Maine who went to school, worked a full time job, and paid her bills. Fenrisúlfr was just a son of a god bound to a bolder, until the start of the end of the world. What happens when their worlds collide? Will Mara finally find something to live for? Will Fenrisúlfr be able to prove the he isn't as evil as fate made him out to be? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Slowly, the wolf moved closer to her and pressed its nose into her palm. Mara waited, holding her breath, waiting for the wolf to make its next move. Time seemed to freeze as the light radiating from the wolf grew more intense. As the light grew, Mara felt a large pressure in her head, as if her head was in a vise and someone was tightening it a little too much. Mara wanted to move her hand and hold her head, but she was frozen in place. As the glowing reached its peak, a voice whispered in her head, "Relax, accept the bond, or we both will parish." Mara tore her eyes away from her hand to scan the space behind the wolf. Someone else was here with her. But she couldn't see them. The only thing she could see was the wolf. So she did the only thing she could do. She relaxed, letting her eyes meet the wolf, who already seemed to be staring at her.
