Prologue

Sasha Carter leads a relatively normal life until she is roped into a deadly disaster - the hunt for the Arcadian Crystals, three precious gemstones that have the power to change humanity. She's told that everyone who began the search is dead - well, almost everyone. Only her mentor Garrett Godfrey remains alive, though only after having his companions snatched by Death's hand.
