Description
Mae and her twin Mika are supernaturals with gifted magical powers living in the ordinary world, but as they turn sixteen they discover another world in which they belong in. Another side of society, creatures of the night, an academy turning out lethal protectors of the ordinary world fighting against the unseen enemies, to keep a peaceful balance between those with magic abilities and those without. The two girls uncover a series of mysteries and secrets within their family that should have been buried a long time ago. As Mae and her sister develop their powers through the help of the academy of the supernaturals, danger seems to follow them everywhere they go. Mae is forced to separate from her sister on their first training mission, but is taken under the wings of ruthless group leader Azriel. There is nothing but tension between the two at the beginning, but as Azriel saves her from an inch of death on one particular mission, they start to see each other in a different light.
