Prologue

Athena and Ivory Rivers are orphans. They're also Kleptomaniacs who've been on the run from the cops for years.

When Ivory gets kidnapped and Athena is hit by a car, Athena has no choice but to go to the man that's been chasing her since she was twelve. Detective O'Donell.

She soon finds out that the detective has a son, Nathan O'Donell, and she slowly starts to fall for him.
