Chapter 1 Beach

Riley is a normal 16-year-old, she goes to school like any other kid on the Island and she has a wild imagination so when she reports seeing magical things everyone just rolls their eyes.
But one day when she is running to the cliffside beach with her best friend Bee, Riley sees a mysterious creature beneath the waves. That night she returns to the beach looking for the creature but she instead finds a person from one of the merchant ships docked in the harbour. Who is this person, and are they connected to the creature?
