1: Defeat and Resolve

The Blue Lock Project led by Teieri Anri and Ego Jinpachi is to filter out a striker among 300 to become the World's Best. One of them is a former member of the U-18 football team from Germany, Asher Sachi. After a total defeat against Germany's Bastard München, Asher receives an invitation to the Player Improvement Program, Blue Lock. To many it may seem insignificant but to Asher it is a chance to step onto the world stage.

Will Asher be able to rise to the top?
Or will he end up as a stepping stone to others?
