"I knew you could read minds but I didn't know that you could read palms too," she said with a grin on her face as she ran her fingers through his hair

"I'm a Jack of all trades," he told her with a cheeky grin, looking up at her and sending her a small wink before looking back down at her hand

"Sure thing. What's my future then?"

His eyes lit up brighter than they had ever done before, bright enough to shelter a whole city from darkness. His smile widened as his hand went from her palm to the side of her neck where he slowly pulled her in.
