Aeylla Rhayne has been running for centuries--running from her failures, running from her power, running from herself. She knew that if anyone discovered what she was, she'd be used, killed, or worse so she settled on Midgard, working with SHIELD and using her life-long training to stay hidden (for the most part). But when her past suddenly catches up to her, bringing all of Hel with it, Aeylla is forced to face everything she has been avoiding. Fortunately, she doesn't have to fight it alone when she meets a rag-tag group of heroes that are just as dysfunctional as they are capable--and led by a man with abilities that may even rival her own.
