Luke is needy as some would say, Ashton knew it the second he stood in front of a crying Luke as a stuffed penguin that he couldn't afford was clutched in his hands. He wasn't high maintenance, in fact, he was far from it. Luke had never received the attention he deserved when he was young, for reasons he is too afraid to admit. When he meets Ashton, he confesses everything, giving the older man the opportunity to take care of Luke the way he had been craving for so long.
