Prologue: Peaceful Times

In the village of Aball, There lies three great friends: Velvet Crowe, her little brother Laphicet Crowe, and her best friend Brendan Wolf. Everything had been peaceful until the day of the Scarlet Night where Laphicet was killed by Artorius as a sacrifice to the Empyrean Innominant. Velvet was furious of her brother's death and sought revenge to her brother-in-law. As for Brendan, he was separated from the event but a forgotten Empyrean had awoken to him and chose him to be a Hero. And so, the tales of a Villainess and a Hero begins.
