Rika Himura is a relative of Sakura. Her mother is the sister of Kizashi Haruno. When she was born,the legendary fire demon of the Land of Fire named Moyasu is sealed within her.

Before the Chunnin exams,she met Gaara which holds the One Tailed Beast named Shukaku within him. He happens to catch her attention. She thought it's because his beast is cold blooded just like her demon,but is it that simple?
