Description
Sixteen-year-old Bedelia Chestere is what most refer to as a Fire Breather, one of the few left in Auchten. When an attack on her home left her orphaned, she set out in search of Ventura, a land of peace. On her journey, however, a deadly pursuit forces her to venture onto one thing no one else would dare set foot; a pirate's ship. Zai Ambercrest is a seventeen-year-old pirate who earned the captain's position in the years she's spent running from her past. She is fiercely protective of her crew, and her duty to protect them is one she does not take lightly. However, when a stowaway is discovered at sea, she bends the rules in order to help them find the place they seek: Ventura. On this not-so-straight-forward journey, Zai, Bedelia, and the crew find themselves on an adventure of a lifetime.
