Mason was just a normal kid who happened to never get his semblance. Depaite that he still enrolled to become a huntsman at Beacon Academy.

Just months before he left for Beacon, a strange meteor crashes somewhere in Atlas and Mason finds it and becomes the host to a homicidal alien known as an Symbiote.

With his new pal, the two continue Masons idea of becoming a huntsman....or perhaps, a Lethal Protector.
