Johnny Lawrence the Sensei/Owner of Cobra Kai opens a new dojo in Chicago and meets one of his former students, Y/N. They start to develop feelings for each other as they grow closer. Both Jhonny and Y/N struggle to find a balance because of their age gap.

This is a different story. There's no Halloween fight nor any spaghetti all over Daniel. This doesn't take place in highschool or in California. But there is Johnny struggling to figure out "technology"
