Chapter 1: Beginnings

Sabrina Devon has settled back into life on Praxatillus, with her brother Scotty recovered, her cousins embracing her, and Maratobia about to give birth to the long-awaited Inheritor. But when Homeworld summons her cousin Ford to deal with a sighting of Malvarak, she joins him on a dangerous mission that endangers not only their lives, but their very identities, and puts Scotty's loyalty to her in conflict with his duty to Praxatillus.
