Writing down New Year resolutions is easy but making them come true is the hard part. Still trying to get over her ex Levy decides to go to her best friend Lucy's party to celebrate New Years Eve with her friends. But when her ex shows up she leaves because she do not want him to ruin this evening for her.

She meets a stranger in a elevator that stops working and too comes to terms after talking for a while. Will this man be Levy's savior or will her life turn out even more miserably than it already is?
