Secrets. Secrets were nothing but a world of trouble. The required effort to protect and the possibility of them boiling over was a straight pain in the ass. Secrets were a nuisance, yet so many people had them, and this particular family was no exception. ~~~~~ The Malones were a different type of family, connected to a community concealed from the eyes of humans. They didn't conform to the norms humans deemed acceptable. Yet they live peacefully amongst them, protecting their secrets from non-worthy eyes. However, that peaceful reality was starting to crumble. Their secrets were on the verge of discovery, and the last thing the Malones needed was another secret.
