Turning eighteen meant finding your true mate.
Turns out mine was one with secrets and he was bad news. We never got along and now he was trying to convince me that we belong together. Only I knew we did, but honestly, I never thought that he would be my mate. We practically hated each other on good days.

And did I also mention that my parents have been keeping secrets from me since my birth?

Well, they did, and my life just tilted even more to the side, threatening to drown me if I didn't get a grip on my life.
