Let's make one thing clear: Alina did not mean to get caught up in this. She's supposed to spend her high school years at Bedford Academy High School in Brooklyn, unnoticed, unseen, passing through just so she can graduate and go off to college somewhere far, far away. But nope, fate had other plans. Instead, she's roped up in a superhero family feud, and since she may have picked the wrong side of the fight, her punishment is to remain under Tony Stark's watch, which results in her moving to live on her own away her family and attending a new school. Now, she's the certified new girl at Midtown School of Science and Technology. She's heard about Spider-Man who's been swinging around Queens but hasn't seen him since the fight at the airport. She has no idea who he is but has a keen disliking for him after he kicked her in the gut at the airport. This all changes though when he saves her dog from getting hit by a car. It has her thinking that maybe she should also start using her powers for good.
