Authors Note and Cast!

"I mean seriously, Matt, you can smell when I walk into a room, hear my heart every time I lie! For fucks sake, you can taste blood in the fucking air! But you can't tell when someone loves you?!" I practically yell, outraged with what's going on between us.
"Who ever said that, Daeva?! I knew the second you loved me!" He yells as he bolts out of his seat, causing him to groan in discomfort from the stitches.
"Than why the games?! If you don't love me back you could have just told me." I tell him, my chest rising and falling from our argument.
"Even without the heightened senses, you know damn well I love you. You don't need to hear my heat beat for that. But if it will goddamn make you believe me..." He grunts angrily, grabbing a hold of my wrist and placing my cold fingers over his fast beating heart.
"Tell me doctor, is this the feeling of a lying mans heart?" He whispers, his lips grazing my ear. I take in a deep breath and close my eyes about to respond.
"You know your heart rate changes when you're about to say something, right?" He jokes with a knowing grin on his face. I bite my lip, hiding my smile before I press my lips onto his.
"Now you're just showing off." I whisper as my hands travel to the back of his head, gripping onto his hair to push him onto me.

Matt Murdock, lawyer during the day with his best friend Foggy, but vigilante by night finds himself in a young woman's apartment, all bandaged up and cared for. He slowly starts to tell her everything about himself and he can't help but not feel something for the woman he can't even see.

Yet he can't resist the doctor who puts herself out to save him.
