Chapter one (dont feel like naming em')

Ellen was abandoned as a child, kidnapped, and sold into slavery. she had no desire to escape, because there was no where she had to return to. but after so much pain, being kicked around, and and thought of as less then dirt, she sees hope. hope in a dream, a new world where she's not a slave, and doesn't have to obey anyone. but is it even real? or it is it just a dream? a hopeless dream for a hopeless girl... if only she knew the truth.

but what if this truth she desires, is an entirely different reality?
