"I think I'm in love with you." I spat out, spilling my heart out to him.

He stayed silent, for too long. The pit in my stomach started to grow more and more by each second.

please say something. anything.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything." I spoke quickly, turning around quickly to run in the opposite direction, I already felt embarrassed, I didn't need to stand there and wait for him to say what I already know.

"Cadence, wait!" He called just as I nearly rounded the corner.

"I think I love you too."
