We Still Have a Long Way to Go!

I think most folks would agree that hard work translates into success. But here's the question that I examine in the attached essay, Does that mean that race and ethnicity play only a minor role, if any at all, in shaping one's success and acceptability in our society? I am not sure if my parents - both black - who grew up in Jim Crow South would agree. Here's their story.
