Chapter 1:

Katniss Everdeen, a Capitol's favorite, an inspiration for those who have been watching her. Peeta was never taken into the custody of the Capitol, but Katniss was. And in Penance for their revolting, Katniss is put to the absolute test. Will she cover for the cameras to save everyone she loves, or will she say something that will cause the whole country to finally rebel against the Capitol.
