When Emerald James' family is murdered by witch hunter, she has to move with her Aunt Eliana to Lunar Falls, Georgia. Now with her 16 birthday came and pass, her powers are getting a little bit harder to handle. She has to try to find some peace for being a witch, being hunted day and night. But also for being one of the last witches. She wants to keep her heritage alive. But being the bright, 16 year old girl that has to feel everyone's emotions contently. It's kind of hard. Now she is pulled into the world of a hunter, Ryder Holden. What happens when she falls in love with him, and doesn't even know it? Something can be hard to forget.
