When I met him, I was three years old. He had a mop of curly blonde hair that christened his chubby face and swayed as he toddled about a room. His piercing blue eyes could always see through my tales, and his tiny grin was positively charming. It was strictly platonic all through school, we would gag in disgust at the thought of affection, within our group of friends. But soon things began changing. He outgrew his puppy fat and gained muscle, his grin became lopsided, and could make any girl weak at the knees. We drifted apart, him to the football team, me to this table. Little did I know that we were about to get closer.
