After being kidnapped by the league of villains for information, people were confused why Shoto came back unharmed. Little did they know the leagues favorite torture method; Mental Torture. The league of Villains found that fucking with people mentally is much more affective than physically hurting them. Why you may ask? Mental pain is much much worse than physical pain. Physically pain can easily be numbed but medication and healed after a given amount of days. Mental pain on the other hand cannot be numbed and medicated away, and definitely takes longer to recover from. After being destroyed mentally, the league knew Shoto would come crawling back.
