A tale about a girl named Amelia, who as an infant, watches the dire death of her own mother. She spends 13 years of her life in a cave, taking care of her old father; but eventually leaves the 'house' due to starvation. The lass doesn't know about the treatment and death of the women in the kingdom, so she goes there, but fortunately she finds Albert, the only son of the king, who befriends her and eventually saves her from her dire demise similar to that of her ancestors.
