definition: a source or means of being saved from harm ruin, or loss. A savior who is saving someone from their own evil.

He brought her to the island to save himself. He needed to use her heart to keep him from dying. Little did he know, that she would in fact save him, but not in the way he had thought. She saved him from the darkness inside his heart. He did in fact need her to stay alive, for they shared the same heart, the same mind, and the same soul. She was his escape from all evil.
