"Stop..." I say as he tucks his lips closer to my neck with a strong alcohol scent, resisting my pushes against his body. In the corner of my eye I notice the office door begins opening slowly and Tristan creeps out behind him. Wrath fills his body unlike any other emotion as he places his hands over the man's mouth. Muffling his screams by stuffing the man's tie into it as he begins twisting his neck in a way it was not made to turn. Tristan grunts as his neck snaps. Letting his head drop onto the tile with a thud.

Wren Parker engages in a relationship with her sister's fiancé, finding herself falling down a rabbit hole of lies and deception. After he is presumed dead while they are on the run, his brother confesses his growing feelings for her.

During one of the biggest heists in her life, she finds out her dead ex-boyfriend isn't so dead after all. Will she follow through with the mission and leave a dead man as exactly that?
