A long time ago when the cold blooded King and the shape shifter King had made peace with each other having hunters as the common enemy. Shane, Lydia, Holden and Christopher were inseparable friends. One day the vampire King betrayed the truce causing rampage between the two species. The vampires having hunters on their side killed most wolves causing the wolf King to intervene himself, after protecting and saving the wolves the Alpha King offers his death by the vampires in return to end the war.
