Remember back when pinky promises meant everything? Well, up until at the age of 17, pinky promises still meant everything to Francine Carlisle Dunne. Especially the one she made with her childhood best friend, Alex Mason. The two were very inseparable since birth. Then, comes a time when Francine's mom decided to raise her away from Alex. "When we grow up, I promise to marry you. Promise you'll say 'I do'?" "I promise.." Those were the last promise they made before Francine's family decided to move away and into a foreign place. Before they could test their friendship by the distance, an event comes and tests them by time instead. Will they be able to keep their promise?
