Josephine "Jo" Weaver was born in January of 1999 in Georgia. Nineteen years later in early 2018 when she visits Inverness, Scotland, alone, she finds herself observing a druid tradition and eventually finds herself in 18th century Scotland Highlands. There she meets Claire Randall who is a fellow time traveler from the 1940s. Both women find themselves stuck in a cold and harsh world, both trying to find a way home.
