When eighteen-year-old Kaitlyn Summers is suddenly transported to space, she finds her half-brother Peter Quill. She meets his ragtag team of heroes called the Guardians of the Galaxy which consists of Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, and a talking tree named Groot. As Kaitlyn and the Guardians travel throughout the cosmos, she and Peter learn the truth about their mysterious parentage. Facing new allies and enemies, Kaitlyn must learn how to build new friendships and form a bond with her brother all the while evading an armada searching for vengeance!
