Prologue: Parting Ways

Jessy knows she can't stay with Bramblestar and ThunderClan. His destiny lies with Squirrelflight, and Jessy's destiny. . . lies somewhere else. She just doesn't know where. All she does know is she must leave; she will not be a kittypet anymore, but she won't be a codeless rogue or a lazy loner. She respected the adventure and honor of the wild warrior cats and she hoped to find something like it out there for her.
