Two weeks into quarantine and Joy Hwa has already run out of things to do in her tiny, shared apartment. She's baked banana and sour dough bread, makes dalgona coffee every morning, and plays among us with her friends all the time (all of course while social distancing). But, she's bored of this cycle; tired of hearing her friend's neverending complaints, Emmy Chan, Joy's best friend and roommate, convinces her to create an account on a dating app. Here's the catch: Joy has had no experience when it comes to dating. After one awkward encounter in high school, she made a rule of no dating until college. Instead, she put all of her energy into her studies, allowing her to graduate as salutatorian of her high school. But as quarantine continues and Joy transitions from being a sophomore to a junior through virtual university, she finds herself texting one person much more than the others on the app. So when senior year comes around, and the world begins to reopen, she finally has the chance to meet the person behind the screen. Yet when Joy discovers who she's been texting all along, she's not so sure if she's made the right decision in letting this mystery person into her heart.
