They had all changed through their pain. Every step taking them to places they'd never planned nor wanted. Whether towards growth from their hard-learned lessons or further in their failings, either were likely for those left alone. To lose your mate was hard no matter the circumstance. Is it harder to grieve those who are still alive?

War has come in spite of past leaders' attempts at peace. A mad man is desperate for revenge. When those responsible for his grief are long gone, what will he do? What does it mean to forgive? Revenge is hard. Healing is even harder.
