Foreword

She awoke in the woods, all alone but for the car wreckage that crushed the lifeless body of her baby sister. The leaves of the forest floor were covered with crimson, her legs weak and her head pounding. She had no memory of what had happened, her head was only filled with the overwhelming new senses that had arisen within her.
Before she could make sense of the situation, she was found by the creatures her mother had warned her of when she was a child. But not for the reasons she thought.
The beasts took her into their clan, yet not everyone's welcome was paved with good intentions. A whole new life awaited Merindah with much to learn about herself and those around her.
