**PREVIOUSLY TITLED: SECOND CHANCES** Book #1 of The Tale of Two Brothers series Wyatt and Seth Hartley are brothers who live with their mom in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their mother is a struggling alcoholic who leaves her sons for weeks at a time before stumbling into the house, drunk, at two in the morning. The boys are both sick and tired of it. While sorting through some boxes in their mom's closet, Wyatt finds a box of letters addressed to both him and Seth, and also their mother. The letters are from their grandfather (who they didn't even know they had). After a nasty fight with their mother, Wyatt and Seth make the decision to move in with their grandfather in Newport, Oregon. They will be living in the same house that their mother grew up in and also attending the same school. Once in Newport, they also discover that they also have an aunt and cousin as well. For most of their lives, it's been Wyatt and Seth against the world. Now that's about to change. They have a home, and a family, and each other. Only as life should be working itself out, its only becoming more and more complicated for the Hartley brothers.
