prologue

My hands bunch up in tight fists around my sides. His mouth rises up into a smirk. I see the amusement glistening in his eyes and my fists tighten more. I feel my palms start to bleed but the blood only fuels my anger.

"Get out of my dressing room," I say through gritted teeth. He takes a step closer to me and I have no intent to back down and step back.

"No." I raise my hand to push him, but he does the one thing I never expected my worst enemy to do. The damn fool kissed me.
