Chapter 1.

Love is bittersweet. It is impatient, all encompassing, taking over, and so often unrequited. Is it worth it?

Rob is lovelorn, and it is devouring him. Time rolls past him with its dull grey palette, appearing unremarkable, yet shattering him with every minute that passes.

He aches for his love to be returned, but he knows it cannot, so he doesn't let himself dream. But he does not know everything...
