When they finally got married, Mia's crazy ex Jake who still loves her tried to stop their wedding but failed his mission of stopping the wedding amd getting the girl of his dreams back, since he failed stopping their wedding he then tried to kidnapp one of Simon and Mia's daughters, but also failed the mission of trying to retrieve Mia after 10 years.
