Izuku was diagnosed as quirkless at the age of 4 and everyone turned their backs on him, including his 3 friends bakugo, uraraka and kirashima.

The only person that loved and supported him was his mother inko, but when the two are caught in a sludge villain attack inko is killed.

In desperation izuku tries to help and something awakens inside him.
