High school years aren't easy. After being at the top in 8th grade, 9th grade is like 6th grade all over again. Gabby isn't ready to face high school. Along with boys, parents who aren't aware of Gabby's problems and insecurities.

Insecure is a book that goes through Gabby's high school years. As she starts off in 9th grade she starts being insecure about herself. But, as she goes throughout high school, she realizes that she needs to love herself for who she is.
