Chapter 1: Just friends

A mysterious young woman with a unique view of the world meets a man who is much more than meets the public eye.

While enjoying a beer at his favorite restaurant, Bucky Barnes is approached by a beautiful young woman and is invited to share her evening with friends. As their defensive emotional walls slowly crumble, the two of them begin to understand just how different the world can be from what they have been dealt before.
