Prologue

With the fall of Zja, the lone victor, the kingdom of Levenia, seems to finally be at peace, but the cost of war is more than just lives. Famine, rebellion, and a vengeful prince all spell trouble. A new war is brewing from the ashes of the last one, and a dooming prophecy indicates a tragic inevitability.
When Elysia is drafted into the military, loyalty and honor may come at the price of her morals. She must choose to fight to save her kingdom, friends, and family or to become a martyr of another vicious power grab.
