Continuing from overlooked love, please read that first if you already haven't.

Love is a quiet emotion that in time becomes part of the oxygen you need to breathe, and so though you may not feel sure that's there, any form of removal and the emotions begin to choke.

That's how I felt, after he was nearly taken from me.
