Addison Zabini was born Addison Cleaver. But one Christmas when she was young, she watched a follower of You-Know-Who murder her parents. Since then, she's been a Zabini. She tried to live up to the name, but as she arrived at Hogwarts she felt that it wasn't just her name she had to stand up for, but Slytherin house as well. Not all Slytherins are rotten. Addison set out to prove that. Somewhere along the way, she forgot her purpose. She became the spitting image of a Slytherin: cruel, ambitious, and manipulative. Her friends remind her of her true purpose and help soften the sharp edges the world had carved into her. With her new friends and a budding romance on the brink of war, Addison sets out to make an example of herself. Not all Slytherin are rotten, and not all Zabini are cruel.
