Chapter 1: A Curse-Breaker's Welcome

Amateur Curse-Breaker Artemis Hexley returns to Hogwarts for her fourth year, and it's not long before she finds herself once more embroiled in the mystery of the Cursed Vaults.

This year, though, she's not the only one trying to break the curse. Patricia Rakepick, head Curse-Breaker at Gringotts Bank has been shipped in to investigate, and her investigations keep leading her back to Artemis.

With Rakepick on her tail, Artemis takes to the Forbidden Forest. She's sure that the next Vault is in there somewhere, but who knows what dangers will be waiting for her amongst the trees?
